Joan M.Lundey
Owner/Director of Studio One Dance School since 1991.

     Studio One Dance School was founded in 1991 by Joan Lundey,   dancer. entrepreneur, teacher and choreographer. She is  a graduate of  UW Stevens Point WI, with a dance Theatre Arts and Communication degrees. Joan has over 25 years of teaching dance and choregraphy . Her mission of her school is to provide a truly positive family learning  dance environment for today's youth.   With over 20 years with her studio,  Joan's studio has taught many students beautiful dance skills , She motivates wonderful challenges and  inspired many young dancers.  

She has worked  with some of today  top dance professionals including;  James Moore , Susan Hugh-Gingrasso,  Bob Rizzo ,Gus Giordano, Paula Abdul, Jackie Sleight and Dave Carter of LA Dance Magic , West Coast Dance Explosion, Tremaine, Jump,  Joffery Ballet,  Moscow  Ballet .  The Edge /LA and the Millennium in Hollywood. 

She is the director of her school and the Starlite/ Elite Company  which she has competed over 19 years.  Joan has a very select group of quality trained teacher to teach with her.   They participate in Semi -regional and National convention /competitions .  Have received  Platinum, Golds and High outstanding recognition awards in the Midwest.  Many of her students have receive numerous National scholarships and careers in the dance industry today.  She has been a National Judge for Odyssey dance Competition. and other events.  .
She has been Artist director and producer of the Magical ballet "Cinderella'"  1998,1999, 2001.2004 
Hosted the Moscow Ballet Nutcracker in 2007 for Madison. and currently producing the next  2009 Holiday season Benefit dance
 I am always inspired and amazed at the wonderful special gifted children in this community and everywhere I have danced i n the country..again there are great parents that value  dance and the art in the "intangible gifts it bring to ones soul.  Life takes courage and dance is when you learn if you fall small or fall big you get back up and keep going no matter what one may say or do, you keep on dancing with your journey of life!
