Joan M. Lundey
Owner/Director/Teacher of Studio One Dance School since 1990.
Joan's mission is to provide a truly positive professional family learning dance environment for today youth. Her studio has taught many beautiful dancers beyond just steps and routine skills and continues with her amazing faculty to touched the fiber of their life. Today she has many students performing and working ,teaching in the industry. Studio One Dance School was founded in 1990 by Joan M. Lundey, A dancer. entrepreneur, teacher and choreographer. A graduate of UW Stevens Point with a dance Theatre Arts and Communication degrees. Joan has over 25+ years of teaching dance and professional performing art and entertainment industry! She motivates wonderful challenges and inspired many you dancers.
She has worked with some of today top dance professionals including; James Moore , Susan Hugh-Gingrasso, Bob Rizzo ,Gus Giordano, Paula Abdul, Jackie Sleight and Dave Carter of LA Dance Magic , D.j Guthrie, Gil Storming Bosco Baker,
West Coast Dance Explosion, Tremaine, Joffery Ballet, Moscow Ballet . The Edge /LA and the Millennium in Hollywood.
They participate in Semi -regional and National convention /competitions . Have received Platinum, Gold and High outstanding recognition awards in the Midwest. Many of her students have receive numerous National scholarships and careers in the dance industry today. She has been a National Judge for Odyssey dance Competition. and other events. .
She has been Artist director and producer of the Magical ballet "Cinderella'" 1998,1999, 2001.2004
Hosted the Moscow Ballet Nutcracker in 2007.
Produced and artistic directed a Holiday dance Benefit concert for the American UW Madison. children Hospital
Holiday Magic 2011.
I am always inspired and amazed at the wonderful special gifted children in this community and everywhere I have danced i n the country..again there are great parents that value dance and the art in the "intangible gifts it bring to ones soul. Life takes courage and dance is when you learn if you fall small or fall big you get back up and keep going no matter what one may say or do, you keep on dancing with your journey of life!
